2018 Trends
Fashion Week has officially ended and the gods of fashion have left us with all we need to know about what to wear this coming year. Yes, technically all the shows presented collections for spring/summer of 2018. However, many aspects of the looks are able to be used in this next fall/winter season. Here are some trends and styles that stood out to me this season:
60’s - My question is, why did the sixties ever go out of style? Anyways they're back and I couldn’t be happier.
The Schoolgirl - Collars, mini-skirts, and knee-highs should be dominating your wardrobe now. Who doesn’t want to look schoolgirl chic?
Clean silhouettes - Pull out all your A-line skirts, dresses, jackets, and even pants! The cleaner the lines, the better the look.
Black/white prints - You know I’m the biggest advocate of wearing black, so this trend makes me one happy girl. We’re talking checkers, houndstooth, plaid, stripes, the works.
Blues & prints - Bold blues and blacks are sure to make you the coolest girl on the block. So pull out all your electric and royal blue pieces and pair them with a solid black piece or a bold black and white print if you’re feeling daring.
Red - Red, red, red! It’s big, bright, and beautiful! Whether it’s a red skirt, jacket, or pair of shoes, make it red! Add a pop of color to your look and rock it.
